Prior to beginning therapy, we will schedule a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. During this call, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions about the process or practice, and see if it's a good fit. If it feels right for both parties, we'll schedule your first session—usually within the following week.
Yes. All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, available to clients throughout Massachusetts, Florida, and Vermont. Phone sessions are also available if you prefer that option.
Your first session is a chance for you to get comfortable and explore what's bringing you to therapy. You'll start identifying the goals you'd like to work on, and Yvette will help guide which therapeutic methods would be most beneficial for meeting those goals. Throughout this process, you'll work collaboratively—she deeply values your input because you're the expert on your own life and experiences!
No. While Yvette's areas of clinical focus are high achiever anxiety, perfectionism, and codependent relationship patterns, she welcomes clients facing a range of challenges—including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and stress management. If you're wondering whether she might be a good fit for you, don't be shy—reach out to book a free consultation. We'd love to hear from you!
Therapy provides a space that's all yours—where you can speak freely about challenges without the judgment or bias that can come from friends and family. It's a welcoming space built on trust and safety. Therapy isn't as scary as people think—it's simply a process that requires active participation. Real change takes time and patience. It's a marathon, not a sprint, but no one has to run it alone.
People come to therapy wanting to feel better—and that looks different for everyone. Maybe you need better ways to handle life's challenges or tools to manage stress. Perhaps you're navigating big changes, struggling with anxiety or depression, or working through tricky relationships. Therapy gives you space to process your feelings, understand your experiences, and get to know yourself better. It can also help you explore thoughts and feelings you might not feel comfortable sharing elsewhere.
Life happens! We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.
You've been carrying this alone long enough. If you're ready to explore therapy, reach out to schedule your free 20-minute consultation. We'd love to hear from you!
